Our Story

Founding & Initiation

The Dexterity Progressive Organised Private Schools of Nigeria was initiated and founded by Prince Comrade Tadese Abayomi Fatai, an Education Officer, Inspector of Education, and educational reform advocate in Nigeria.

The association was conceived as a progressive intervention platform aimed at addressing critical gaps (lacunas) identified within the private education sector in Nigeria.

As part of the foundational process, the initiator invited selected private school proprietors and educational stakeholders to serve as founding members, thereby establishing a strong institutional base for the association.

The establishment of DEXTERITY was driven by the founder's professional observations and experiences as an Inspector of Education. Key gaps identified include:

Lack of proper coordination among private schools leading to inconsistent standards.
Inadequate regulatory compliance in some private institutions.
Weak representation of grassroots and emerging schools at policy level.
Insufficient integration of diverse educational systems (English, Arabic, French).
Absence of a unified voice for private school proprietors before government.

The Founder

Prince Comrade Tadese Abayomi Fatai

The founder holds a distinctive position in the education sector as an Education Officer and Inspector of Education, a policy-driven reform advocate, and the Proprietor of one of the first Federal Government approved private driving schools in Osun State, Nigeria.

This unique combination of public service and private educational entrepreneurship provided the practical insight necessary for the establishment of DEXTERITY as a progressive, reform-driven association.
